Dr Rachel Dean: Veterinary Surgeon
Rachel qualified from Liverpool University in 1998 and worked for 14 years in a small animal practice near Queensferry in Flintshire. She began working for the Willows at their Lymm Surgery in Jan 2013. Rachel has a particular interest in all medicine cases especially elderly pets and their problems, diabetic patients and feline kidney disease. She owns a 4 yr old Border Terrier called Ozzie and a 7 year old cat domestic short hair cat called Calico whom she hand reared.
Dr Joy Allen BVSc Cert GP(Eq P) MRCVS.
Joy studied at Liverpool University and graduated in 2000 and has worked in mixed and equine practice in the North East, Cheshire and Australia. Joy currently has no pets but hopes to have another dog once her youngest child is older.
Sheryl Holden : RVN
Sheryl qualified in 2012, having attended both Myserscough College and Pro Co College to complete her nurse training. She has worked for the Willows Veterinary Group since 2008, initially at Beech House and then the Firs in Kelsall. Sheryl joined the team at Lymm in 2013. Sheryl has a particular interest in weight management and runs weight clinics for cats and dogs. She has two rescue cats; Socks the ragdoll and Garibaldi the ginger domestic long haired. She also has Tink a Jack Russell Terrier
Geraldine Daniels : Auxilary Nurse / Receptionist
Geraldine has been in the veterinary profession for nearly 30 years in Macclesfield, Knutsford, Northwich, Middlewich and Lymm. She has been both nurse and receptionist at Lymm for 20 years and in the last two have moved mainly over to reception duties. Geraldine has had both cats and dogs as pets over the years and has been the carer of a free range domestic rabbit for the last nine years. Geraldine has helped and assisted many clients at Lymm over the years and hopes to continue for some time.
Georgy Mitchell: Auxiliary Nurse
Georgy is currently studying towards her Veterinary Care Assistant qualification. She is passionate about animals and whilst at school undertook work experience at Beech House Veterinary Centre. She has also volunteered in Ecuador at a wild animal rescue – working with Pumas, Capuchin Monkeys and Jaguars. Georgy has a very naughty Guinea Pig called Buddy Love
Kayleigh Wharton: Auxiliary Nurse
Kayleigh has always surrounded herself with animals and gained her NCAC qualification from Reaseheath College in 2004. She has worked in vet practices since the age of 14 and also worked in 2 different kennels/catteries. Kayleigh transferred to us from Lymm Animal Clinic. When not at work Kayleigh walk dogs for people. She has a 4 year old Chihuahua/Shih Tzu cross called Bungle.
Danielle Cloake – Nurse/Receptionist
Danielle achieved her qualification in Animal care in 2007 and has previously worked in boarding kennels and a cattery. She has always loved being around animals and grew up around horses. Danielle now has an 11 year old black Labrador called Joop
